Materials, of J. Hall Kellogg, legal council to the conference, chiefly reflecting the reorganization of the Ohio Conference with U.C.C., include board of trustee and executive committee minutes and reports, legal records, correspondence with individual churches, mainly relating to church properties, two law suits, and legal papers of individual churches. Ohio Conference of Congregational Christian Churches materials include constitutions, articles of incorporation, financial and legal documents, conference studies, and reports of special interest groups. Materials of individual conference churches contain endowment and trust funds, legal papers, chiefly dealing with property, correspondence, and self-studies. Records of regional associations (pre 1963) include constitutions, by-laws, articles of incorporation. Records concerning the union with UCC contain original ballots of agreement cast 1963 at Defiance College and documents of incorporation for the new associations formed under the UCC in 1963.
